Meet Dr. Kimberly Owen
Dr. Kimberly Owen is a caring and experienced general dentist at the Dental Center of Florence (DCOF), bringing more than 23 years of experience to her patients. She is passionate about providing personalized, comprehensive care for the whole family, with a focus on dental implants, orthodontics, and family dentistry.
A native of Girard, Kansas, Dr. Owen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Communications from the University of Louisville before pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a dentist. She went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2002. She is also a proud member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE).
Dr. Owen knew early on that dentistry was her calling. “I wanted to be a dentist since the second grade, and after my undergraduate education, I knew that I needed to pursue my passion in dentistry. I love that I get to know my patients and help them understand their treatment needs. Each patient has unique needs and individual desires which inspire me to personalize their care.”
Outside of the office, Dr. Owen enjoys an active lifestyle—working out, hiking, traveling, learning pickleball, and spending time outdoors, especially near the beach. She also loves time with her family, including her two sons, Tanner (26) and Trey (22), both finance majors, and her beloved dog, Bear, a Shorkie
